Did you know that our instructors practice SUPing as a real sport and participate in SUP competitions? And not just any paddling, every year we register for the SUP11city, the original 220km long route of the Elfstedentocht, but on the SUP instead of on ice-skates. We are part of the top ranking of the world in this beautiful sport!

Hoi! Ghislaine here!
In 2018 I only knew SUPing by hear and say...
Now we are a few years later, 3 SUP courses and 3 completed SUP Eleven Cities tours! I am very proud to say that I am the owner of SUP-Amersfoort and that SUPing is my job, even though it really doesn't feel like work! I still get a lot of energy from every lesson I teach.
I like to share that enthusiasm by guiding everyone responsibly and safely across (and in) the water all year round. From young to old, company party, children's party, families, friends and of course SUP Clean-up. You name it and I will do it all with a big smile!
After so many wonderful seasons, I have a book of experiences and exercises that you can do on the SUP; yoga, boot camp, interval training, technique, games for young and old...
What I like best; basically everything, starting the day in the summer (or winter) before sunrise with my breakfast on the water, the high fives from kids after a children's party, enthusiastic reactions to photos I took along the way, the just-a-little- nervous beginner who says at the end "it was much more fun than I thought", the end of SUP yoga when everyone is floating, company outings that end in a swim with me joining of course..

Hi!
My name is Marco, 40 years old, born and raised in Foz do Arelho, Portugal.
Fell in love with the sea when I was young and started Bodyboarding at my local beach at age 12. In 2019 surf spots got very crowded here and trying to keep my contact with the ocean I discovered my new passion, the stand up paddle sports. Competed in my first race that same year at the Portuguese National long distance championships, never stopped training since that time. Competed in 11 City SUP 2022 and 2023.

The love for the sport is so big that I decided to make the ASI instructors course and share my knowledge and passion with other people.
Love being in contact with nature, to be on the water, a good training and a good challenge.

SUP-Amersfoort has no fixed location.
We do have a regular boarding point at Gasthuislaan. We also board elsewhere in the Amersfoort area, Nijkerk, Bunschoten, Leusden, Cothen, etc.
